Halar® is also FDA compliant. Halar® ® is an ultrapure material with no fillers, lubricants or plasticizers. WebECTFE is a melt processable fluoropolymer, also known by the trade name Halar®. The material’s chemical structure (a 1:1 alternating copolymer of ethylene and chlorotrifluoroethylene) makes it useful in a wide variety of applications, especially as a coating or lining.
