WebOct 25, 2024 · I was using the wrong terminology. In the attached MS270 manual there are 2 pawls and both of my saws each have 1 pawl. That being said the spring clip on the saw that is not starting looks fine but apparently must be a little to tight because the pawl does move as the starter cord is pulled but the 025 pawl jumps right out when it is pulled.
